If you have an ovarian cyst the ovary can become twisted on its stalk and lose blood flow, it's called torsion. It can cause the ovary to become necrotic--I don't know how long the blood supply has to be cut off for that to happen. Are you talking about the ovary on the left side losing blood flow? If you can call your gynecologist at home, I would, or go to the ER of the hospital where she does her surgeries and tell them she is your doctor so they can call her in. I'm not sure why you're doctor wouldn't tell you anything today though, if that is the problem? Good luck I hope everything is ok.
