I was wondering if endometriosis can return after having children. I had the laparoscopic surgery and took lupron injections back in 2003 and have been symptom free since. Since that time I have had 2 children one is 17 months old and the other is 3 months old. Since the birth of my second child, I have noticed that many of the symptoms I had before my treatment are coming back including abnormally heavy periods, cramping, severe lower back pain, etc. I have always heard that pregnancy is a cure for this condition, but have questioned if this is true or not. I would appreciate any advice you could give me.
