Yes, that does make sense.

By MD, I meant medical doctor. They can prescribe antifungals like Diflucan (fluconazole). Naturopaths use herbs like garlic, Pau d'Arco and quite a few others. Postive as most reports from endo sufferers who take them are, antifungals (including the herbs in sufficient doses) can have uncomfortable side effects and uncomfortable effects if the yeast die off too quickly overwhelming your system. This is why it's important to identify what kind of yeast you are dealing with and only use the necessary antifungals. There are also anti-canidia diets that are supposed to help (no sugar, sweeets, simple carbs etc...doesn't sound like much fun to me).

I would be very interested to hear how you feel if you go this route.
