Re: Does this ever go away? - For Elisa

Thanks so much for your reply Elisa, I appreciate it. I would have replied sooner but the last couple of days have been horrible. I have been crawling around on the floor with a screaming migraine and even lying down didn't help. When I stood up I just wanted to vomit. My entire body is exhausted. I just wish I knew when this was going to end. I could understand it if I had had Lupron or Depo Provera but I suppose I was naive in thinking it's "only" the BCP. Anyway, I made the decision to completely change my diet as of this moment, and the BCPs have gone in the trash. I have been doing a lot of reading about fatigue and it's immunological links with Endo and what I read shocked me into making some decisions. Decision #1: no artificial hormones ....not ever. Decision #2: eat completely clean...no red meat, no dairy, no sugar, no soda, no processed foods. Decision #3: Take my vitamins and supplements daily, not just befoe my period.

I had tried the Progesterone cream before but I think I expected the pain to disappear immediately and obviously that's really silly, so I am going to start taking it again when things have settled down. I still have two packs of it left. I don't know if it's a coincidence but yesterday was the first day I ate completely clean and last night was the first night I didn't have a migraine.

Thank you for explaining about the links between fatigue and Endo and hormone allergy. It made me go and read more about it and I feel like I really understand now what's going on. Someone else had posted this link somewhere and I'm posting it again because I found it so interesting:

Hope you're all having a pain free day!
