Doctors often don't agree...esp about endo related stuff, I'm afraid.
Has your doctor had good outcomes treating women with similiar
situations? If you don't know, ask. If not, you might want to find
someone who has. You can always send in your records to get an opinion
from a widely recognized endo specislist, most will do record reviews
and give you their opinion for free. GYNs have very variable levels of
skill and confidance with laproscopy, so what one doctor thinks needs a
lapartomy may not require one in another's eyes. I have no idea what
your situation is like, but always get at least two opinions.
