I guess trycyclic anti-depressants are often helpful in obscure chronic pain cases, I dunno why but it seams to help my side, and It helps me sleep. My husband tried the zyban and it made him very tired, so be carefull, but it wasn't anywhere near as strong as the amatryptaline so it made it harder for me to get to sleep cause I was used to relying on the amatryptaline. Also if you aren't aware of it st johns wort can interfere with birth control meds. A freind of mine was taking that and she got pregnant even though she was on birthcontrol, so just a freindly warning.
