Has anyone been told intestines were inflammed ? Could it be endo? I have suffered on and off since then. For the last two years I have had right side pain, hip and back pain and a low grade fever all around the same time of the month. I also have cyst on my ovaries and in my cervix. A CT scan showed swelling on my intestines.I was told by OB-GYN to go to A GI Dr. So I did and he performed a colonascopy. He said that I had patches of inflammation on my intestines. Why does it act up around the same time as my period? Could this be endo? PleasE if anyone can give me some advice I could really use it. I hate to take medicine for the wrong thing. HELP!
