Re: pregnant after Lupron Depot~Lupron then Nuvaring?

Here's the scoop on mine...

I took 3 months of 3.75mg Lupron. The last shot will be outta my system Nov. 2nd. Then I am supposed to insert Nuvaring to slowly add back the estrogen. The lining of my uterus is so thin from the Lupron if we were to try to get pregnant the embryo couldn't implant or I would miscarry. I had the option of starting my cycle on my own and coming in to get blood work done, etc. to find out when I ovulated. I decided to do the Nuvaring so it would take the guesswork out of it. Then we can start trying sooner and have a better chance of knowing the best times to try.

It could take as many months as you have been on the Lupron for you to start your period. If you are worried maybe you could try the bc route? It makes sense how it will work and get your body back on track after being depleted of estrogen. Just a thought :)
