Wow, I was thinking about asking this same thing. I just felt like I was losing my mind. I am getting ready to have map surgery on nov 9th to officially diagnose what my gyn thinks I have. Problem was, my period wasn't as bad this past time. It's always miserable, and this time it wasn't great, but it wasn't anywhere near where it normally is. I was almost talking myself out of having the lap. That is until hubby and I tried to be intimate (since I had convinced myself I was fine and it wouldn't hurt), and that was a big mistake. I'm still going to have the lap, if nothing else, I hope to have some peace of mind. My biggest fear also is what they will, or won't find.

Good luck, and my opinion is it's better to check and find out now, rather than later. Take Care!!!
