lupronFrom: Angie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Oct 19 10:52:03 2006
It's been a while since I've been on here. My lab reports came back negative even though my doctor said he saw what looked like endo. Then the thought it might be fibromaligia, and now they think it might be IBS, but the medication he gave me for that isn't working. It's called tegaserod, I guess it's new, anybody else heard of it or tried it? He said it would only take a couple days to start helping and it's been two weeks with no improvement, so on monday i have to go back and see what else there is to look at. But my question wasn't really relating to all that. When they first thought i had endo they gave me a lupron shot. It was supposed to wear off over a month ago and since the labs came back negative I didn't take the second shot, but I still haven't gotten my period and am getting hot flashes. I have the addback to stop the hot flashes but I didn't want to keep taking them if the lupron is out f my system. Also my belly is getting kinda tubby. I'm going to ask the doctor to give me a pregnancy test to be sure that's not it, but I didn't think you could get pregnant when you were on lupron and I wasn't before becaus I had a test done before my surgery and then again before the lupron and i didn't have sex between those two times. is that common? any one else have anykind of experience in this?
