Anyone get a uterine infection with your lap?

Yes that would be ME. I have the worst stinking luck. Thursday night (3 days post op) I started running a fever and had chills. Friday was worse. Then I had nausea too. We had a big storm here so all the power was out (we had power though, one of the few places). So dh took me to the ER. My bloodwork was ok. But I had a lot of blood in my urine. So I got a pelvic exam (OWWWWWWWWWWWW), iv, antibiotics. The ER dr said that it could be a virus that is going on and coincidentally occurred with my lap. Or that I have a uterine infection. When she did the pelvic I had a lot of blood and mucous type discharge and pain. So they did some uterine cultures. They called my dr at home to ok the antibiotics and see what he wanted to do. Even on Motrin and Tylenol alternating, the lowest my temp was was 99.4. I have to go back and see my dr for a recheck on Monday. He doesn't see patients on Monday. I am dreading calling Monday morning to say that I need to be seen. They are going to be like AGAIN??????? They started me on doxycycline. Anyone else have this complication?????
