Hi Ladies, The recovery time on the lap can vary. I've had two now and was out for about a week with both. The first three days are the worst for me. After that it is mostly exhaustion and working that gas out of the system. You definately would not be in shape to hop up and go the next day. That's just nuts. It is surgery after all. Especially if your doctor has to do alot of work in there. Your body needs rest and time to heal itself. As far as seeing the results from the lap, it has been my experience that it can take several weeks to really get a picture of what kind of difference it has made. Again, it takes some time to heal, get your energy back, etc. Alyson
