Re: BC pills causing pain?

Kathy, I have actually had a similar conversation here and I still couldn't tell you what the answer is. In my case I was on Seasonale and had a heck of a time with it. I then worked my way up the ladder still having constant intense pain. I finally decided I didn't want to keep putting this stuff in my body if it clearly wasn't helping me. I went in and had a long conversation with my doc about it to be sure that it would be OK to stop taking the meds before I did it. I do have to say I have felt better since being off the medication than I did while on it. The only catch is that when you aren't taking anything you also aren't doing anything to inhibit the endo. I can't explain why the pain was worse on the hormone treatments. I would definately talk to your doctor about it before you quit the meds cold turkey. Alyson
