Ami, I wish there was a cut and dry answer to that question. Unfortunately it is really a trial and error as to what will work for your body and what sensitivity you have to certain meds. There are women here that have had good luck with certain treatments (birth control pills and even Lupron), and just as many who didn't have any luck with the same meds. My method was to start at the low end of the intensity scale (bcp's) and keep moving up until something either worked, or I was unwilling to risk the potential side effects. Just do a lot of research on what is available and decide what you are comfortable with trying. You never know, something might work great for you that doesn't work at all for someone else. Alyson
