Hi ~ I started acupuncture a few months back and did get some relief but
eventually moved to chiropractic work instead. I go once a week. It
has helped me to the point where I only need pain meds a few times a
week instead of 2-3 times a day.
Yesterday I tried electrotherapy for the first time. I felt good and
let me tell you, it was like having a glass of wine or a warm bath. I
felt peaceful after.
My chiropractor has also insisted that I drink a gallon of water a day -
yes, a gallon. AKA hydrotherapy, it has REALLY helped with my cramps.
Cramps are mainly on my ovaries and not down my legs anymore, and just a
little in by back. I know it sounds too simple and very boring, but
water has helped so much. I think it has to do with elimination of
wastes help keeping things smoothly.
Doing all this makes me feel so in control of my health. I think I've
gone through the stages of grief about this and feeling better mentally
helps with stress/pain.
