I too have stabbing pains in my stomach and intestines. I also get the burning sensation in my tummy, which I have started calling the "ornery tummy." I've found that on those days when my tummy is bad, I only eat mild, low-fat foods, like chicken soup and turkey sandwiches. Anything acidic or spicy or fatty will set off diarrhea and cramps, at least for me. The other thing that helps for me, believe it or not, is ibuprofen. I have been told not to take too much because it can cause ulcers, but sometimes you have to weigh the consequences of feeling better now or later. I hope that helps...and if you find anything else that helps let me know!!!
