Re: Lap Surgery

Hi Kelly~

I have to agree with Alyson. I have had many laparoscopies and a few laparotomies (open). I have found with the dissection with the laparotomies they cut out more which gave me more time. The down side is after so many, things become adhered together, and it is almost as if they are preserving our insides until necessary. We are in a catch 22 for sure.

Not choosing either way, because least invasive is always what the Dr.'s seem to recommend with me (I can only speak for me) I always had endo return within 6 months to a year with the scope. For some reason my body built up the carbon used in the laser and it implanted under the site of where they removed the endo. Go figure. I know endo likes to attack anything it thinks is an "invader" and it really can flare up then too.

I am here if you need me :) I hope everyone has a comfortable weekend!
