Re: Lap Surgery

i have mild endometriosis, but i have a lot of pain. my first lap was in 2002 to remove several areas of endometriosis. i had another lap 7 months later (with lupron between laps) to remove more endometriosis. that was excision surgery. the pain was gone for about a year. i had my 3rd lap in early 2006 to remove mild endometriosis again.

it does come back for some people. i don't have a severe case by any means, but what i have comes back quickly and causes a lot of pain. excision surgery was really successful for me, but even that only bought me only a year without pain. the pain still returned, and the endo too.

i hope you find a treatment that helps you. i need to go back on the pill i think to keep it from coming back. i've been off for almost 10 years while trying to conceive, but the pain is getting so bad again (i'm almost 7 months post-surgery this time) that i'm terrified of my periods now.
