Re: norethindroneFrom: Mindy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Sep 28 12:10:51 2006
Hi Amber I have been on Aygestin for about 8 months now. My doc put me on it to help with the break through bleeding I was having when I was on continous birth control. I started out only taking 2.5mg a day & now I'm up to 10mg a day. They upped my dose because I was still having some bleeding occassionally & also to see if it would help control the endo pain. About the only side effect that I noticed was the weight gain. I've gained about 20 pounds in 6 months, but this could also be because of my bc pills. I'm also on Seasonal. My doc is taking my off my bc pills cause I started Lupron on Monday. I will probably still take the Aygestin as addback for the hot flashes from the Lupron. Hope this helps a bit, but I would still recommend seeing a specialist!
