I got the shot for 4 months. I stopped having periods after te second shot. the side effects really suck. thehot flashes and anxiety are difficult to deal with. It has been 2 months since I stopped the shot and I still have not gotten my period back. i havn't talke dto my doctor about it yet. I hear both good and bad stories about lupron.
