Hello! I experienced Lupron. It will put you through what they call a
mock menopause. The side effects are everything a woman would
experience with menopause. Yes it did stop my periods, however I had
extreme hot flashes. Then when my periods came back after taking the
Lupron. There was no change.
I also took Depro-Provera (birthcontrol) it did stop my periods. But
caused me to have extremem acne.
