This is what I was told: Preop appt at the hospital to go over two forms that I filled out on history and bloodwork, and I guess procedures. Then right after that appt, I see my dr. His office is right across the street. My dr told me it would be for consents and stuff. What is the stuff? I am guessing what he'll do, explain the procedure, questions, after the lap stuff, etc? I was told by a friend that he'll do a physical as well. Does this include a pelvic exam???? I was going to take my 7 year old daughter with me to my appt (save on afternoon care), but the same friend told me that would not be a good idea as she may get an education in more ways than one. No I don't want to explain a pelvic exam to her. Thanks.
