hi, I'm 18 and have had recurent rupturing ovarian cysts since I was 14. Unforfunately, it will be pretty painful (how much does it hurt when they burst!?!!) for the first 5 or so days, it stil hurts for a while after that, but not as badly. Lie down lots, on your back. If you tuck your knees up a but (particularly on the side of the cyst), it hurts a bit less. Painkillers are wonderful things, but ive had quite a few of them, so theyre not as effective as they were. Do you mind me asking what treatment you will be put on? is this your 1st one? If so, i hope its your last. Has anyone said anyting about firtility to you? hope you feel better soon.
