I tried most of them on the market just over 11 years ago trying to find one that didnt make me ill, eventually fell pregnant while on them because I suppose I vomited daily towards the end which meant the drug levels were not maintained in my blood?? When not vomiting I felt dizzy and weak and hormones were haywire. After that preg I tried the depo provera shot. Oh My Goodness that was the biggest mistake of my life. It was so stupid of me to believe that gyn when he said it was the right treatment for me. I had gone to him with terrible periods, ovarian cysts, terrible hormones and a history of not tolerating the BCP (endo was not yet dx'd as he was a hopeless gyn)...what an idiot. It was like shoving 90 bcp's into my system in one injection... A NIGHTMARE. I was so ill I cant tell you. Ill for months. Nausea and dizzyness and headaches and fatigue. The worst PMS and blood loss and cramping of my life followed for months.
