Oh my you are having it rough! I can tell you I did Seasonale and it was AWFUL, I had night sweats, weight gain, and bled and bled. 4 periods a year was a lie. As the nurse for my dr put it, more like 4 weeks without bleeding in a year for me because all I did was bleed on it. I had terrible big clots and I had just had a D&C so there was no reason for the clots!

I don't know anything about estratest. Does that have a lot of estrogen in it or is it estrogen replacement? My dr now has me on a low dose estrogen birth control pill. It is Loestrin 24 FE. It is 24 active days and 4 inactive days. However I went continuous with it beginning last month. Side effects were extreme nausea (like all day morning sickness), but that is about it. I am still having pain but I havn't had the implants removed yet. It has cleared up some of the excessive bleeding. The period that I had on it (yes I broke through on it) last month was much lighter than it had been and was only 4 days long. I am also on prometrium and have been on either provera or prometrium in addition to the bcp.

Hope you get some answers soon.
