-- Hi Jennifer, how strange, this is exactly the symptoms i have been experiencing in my right thigh and leg, mostly above the knee but sometimes down into my foot too. Very vary painful excruciatingly so at times. It tends to go into my right hip and lower back, but everyone keeps telling me this is a trapped nerve. I had a full adbominal hysterectomy back in January 2006 for endometriosis to be removed on my ovaries, a large chocolate cyst too that burst! yukky apparently, it says this on my notes when i read them! At night yes it is very painful too, but i have been taking ibuprofen every day since Jan! to stop the pain and have now been referred to a Physiotherapist for treatment for a trapped nerve, they think this might have happened during my operation and quite simply to rectify apparently. I haven't met anyone else who has had the same pain in their leg as me, how strange isn't it. best of luck by the way and lets hope they sort it out for you. I am having to even change my job now as I can't sit down for long period of time, more than half an hour, the aching is soooo painful, and my leg eventually goes dead! fingers crossed, Fiona from UK
