I too gained weight and I workout regularly, so to gain weight and and not change my eating or exercise patterns caused me some concern when it wouldn't come off. I was taken off of it also and put on another. I have gained weight before on some other BCP's but the weight didn't stay on. Some I have found that don't put the weight on are the Ortho cyclen pills. I had very good success with the Ortho Tri Cyclen. When I was on the ortho tri cyclen lo pills, I started to get migraines and my libido changed dramatically this last time. Unfortunately weight gain is one of the side effects of BCP's. Hopefully you will be able to find one that works well with your symptoms and that doesn't add weight or side effects that interfere with daily life. Good luck.
