Not diagnoised with Endo but still painFrom: Yael (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Sep 18 01:26:13 2006
I suffered for years with terrible pain attacks (particularly left abdomen) around about ovulation time. I did a lap and the Dr. claimed that he didn't find endo. He put me on a course of course of Decapeptyl injections (3months then a break for two months and then another 3 mts.)I felt a lot better and no pain but...during the break of two months the pain came back! Then during the last month of the final injection I also had an attack. My Dr. concluded that I don't have endo and the problem is not gynocalogical. I have had gastro, US, CT colonoscopy endoscopy - all the tests and everything else is OK. Can you have endo but not find it by a lap? Does anyone else have similar experience? I just want to know what is causing the pain...it's not in my imagination!!
