Hi Kelly, I have taken Ponstel, and it worked for me. The only problem
is it is so expensive. I work in a pharmacy and it is not the
pharmacies fault. We follow what the insurance says. Ponstel is
compared to a really good Motrin. Have you tried a drug called Relafen?
This has a generic so you insurance is more likely to pay for it. Has
the Dr. contacted the insurance and did what they call a prior
authorization? Even with that it is very expensive my co-pay is $50.00
every month. I do not take it because of that. I hope that this helps.
One more thing ask your Dr. for samples.
