Re: Adenomyosis Question

Erin, I have endo, adeno and pelvic congestion syndrome (vericose veins in my uterus). I got my diagnosis with my lap in May.My doctor was able to make a visual diagnosis as my uterus is (much) enlarged, boggy and redder than normal. My doctor also told me the only way to help adeno was to take my uterus out, however I am not ready for that step and my Dr. certainly understood that. As far as my symptoms it is hard to tell what is causing what. However, my primary symptoms now are lower back ache (constant) and acheness in my lower stomach (not as constant). Before the surgery I had a lot of heavy bleeding with my periods (I would bleed out of my tampons and onto my clothes). However, when I had my lap I had an ablation done and that took care of the heavy bleeding. Good luck with your decision. Ada
