Re: Adenomyosis Question

Erin I was diagnosed with adenomyosis last month & was diagnosed with endo in Aug '04. They can diagnose it not only through a hysterectomy but also through a MRI or transvaginal ultrasound. My symtoms are slightly different when my adeno flares up. It feels like someone just ripped my uterus out & set it on fire & put it back in me. I occassionally get cramping with it too. I was diagnosed through a transvaginal ultrasound. My doc's ultrasound tech is very experienced. She has been doing this 30+ years so she knows her stuff!! I am currently on continous bc & 10mg of Aygestin. This isn't helping though. So I go see him on Thursday. We are going to either try another round of Lupron or Femara. He is consulting with an endo specialist to see what he recommends. Hope this helps a little bit! Feel free to email me if you have any other questions or just need to talk. Take care, Mindy Jo At Tue, 12 Sep 2006, erin wrote: >
