I took Ponstel for a little while about 10 years ago. It is an NSAID, and for me it did not help however a friend of mine with ovarian cysts said that it helped her pain..in fact she recommended it to me which is why I tried it. We're all different so I hope that you can get your insurers, Drs etc to find something that will help you. My Dr was supposed to give me an Rx for percocet since the darvocet does not really help either, but he's leaving town and does not have the right forms from DEA so the pharmacy will not give me the percocet. I wish you lots of luck getting some help there, I know it can be frustrating...and it does not help when the folks at the pharmacy act like you're a druggie for trying to get some pain relief!
