I was wondering if anyone has information or experience with Ponstel? I had not heard of it, and the doctor I saw a few weeks ago prescribed it for the inflammation and pain so I would not have to be on a narcotic all the time. When I took it to the pharmacy, they would not fill it because it cost $140 and said they would need to contact my insurance. They said they would have to contact my doctor for approval. So, I went back a few days later and they said my insurance would not approve it because they wanted me to try something less expensive. I was like "Hello, advil doesn't work!" Anyway, they said that my doctor would have to approve another med. I am so frustrated with insurance, doctors, pharmacies! I cannot believe that we work sooooo hard, and pay for insurance and then not be able to take care of ourselves. I was just wondering what exactly Ponstel was? Thanks for listening!
