Advice about going to the CEC in Atlanta?

Hello ladies, I hope you are all doing well. I am writing because I just learned on Friday that my regular OB/Gyn is leaving town for good in a couple of weeks. I will miss him, but I"m also upset that I now must find a good endo Dr that can perform an excision lap for me soon. I have been contemplating getting evaluated by the CEC for surgery there in Atlanta. I am worried about how much it will cost since the info they sent me said my insurance company will not deal with them even as an out of network provider. I am also concerned since it is so far away (I'm in El Paso TX)and I just wonder if it is worth spending lots of money, time off of work, plane tickets etc...or am I better off trying to dig someone up that's closer? I'd appreciate any feedback any of you could share that might make my decision easier. I am afraid that there aren't any endo specialists out here at all, least of all a good surgeon, so I am trying to weigh the options. Thank you all and best wishes for pain free days!

Barbara
