Hi Lisa I too was just diagnosed with adenomyosis & I don't experience the heavy pain, but I have noticed that it is a different pain than my endo pain. I've been experiencing more of a "someone ripped out my uterus & set it on fire & put it back inside of me" pain. Which doesn't happen with my endo pain. Sorry I can't help much but I would be interested in knowing what kind of treatments they have put you on to try to keep your adenomyosis from flaring up? The docs are talking about either putting me back on Lupron or trying Femara. I currently am taking continious birth control in addition to 10mg of Aygestin. Any insite you have would be great. Pain free days to all, Mindy Jo
