Re: Bladder and Yeast Infections in Women with Endo?

Your bladder/yeast troubles sound so extreme. I'm so sorry for you. I recently started seeing a chiropractor/acupunturist about endo pain and one of the things he has strongly pushed is 1 gallon of water a day. I told him I don't like soda or tea and drink more water than anyone I know and he said fine - drink a gallon a day & keep track of it.

It's not easy to do at first. the first couple of days I felt really bloated. I realized that I'd only been drinking about a quarter of a gallon.

I've noticed some definite changes. When I don't drink a gallon, I see a lot more little particles in my urine. I also feel a little bit constipated now when I don't drink a gallon (or at least over 100 ounces). My sholder muscles feel a little tired, like a slight hangover (without enough water). And, when I went to get a massage after I started drinking a lot of water, my massage therapist said she could tell I had been drinking a lot because she said she had to keep adjusting the amount of lotion because my skin was very supple and she didn't need much lotion. The skin on my legs doesn't look ashy. And the skin on my face looks much brighter.

Try it for a week. Maybe it will help you. I keep a gallon jug with me to help me keep track. I drink out of a glass/not a bottle, because it is easier to gulp.

Good luck ~ Jenny
