well,... They seem to get easier the more you have.
sounds weid but mine have gotten less painful each time I had a Lap.
Maybe its because I know what to expect???
I'd allow a GOOD 2-3 days of almost complete rest.
I think it took me 5 days before I felt just fine.(1st time)
and I tired easily when I did stuff for a week.

Make sure you have a script of pain meds. (Lortabs or vicoden)
I also think sleeping on the couch is much better.
Getting in and out of bed is tough on those belly muscles.
