I wanted to mention that a few days after going on Yasmin I am feeling so much better libido wise. I didn't feel well the first few days I was on it. Sick to my stomach, very pale, etc. But I talked to my dr again and she said to take it with food for the first week or so that would help with the nausea and if the other symptoms persisted to call her again. One thing to keep in mind about BCP's especially continuously, is the threat of a blood clot. I sit for 12 hours a night and have little movement. So I am sure to workout and try to do things in my off time to help offset the time I sit. I understand the depression thing, I was there once too. I couldn't take anti depressants my mind wouldn't allow it. So I had to find other ways to deal iwth it. Mind over matter sort of thing. Same thing with sex recently. Do you want to give up a perfectly good orgasm? Work on different positions, you can email me for more ideas if you'd like to know what works for me. I don't know what kind of pain you are having, but it has saved my relationship. That little bit of pain I am willing to go through to make him happy. I hope your appointment goes well. I usually bring a notebook with questions written down in it and a pen along so I can write down her answers. Good luck. Jen
