Hi Amy, I had the Lupron shot twice, once every 6 months. They could
only give it to me twice because of the side effects and my young age
(19). The only side effect i had was my joints got really bad. I
could'nt sit down to long without my knees and ankle hurting real bad.
My wrist got bad when I played basketball. That is one side effect,
that it weakens your bones so they put me on calcium pills when i got
the shot. I found MANY pain free days on the Lupron shot!
