Melinda,
You are not alone in feeling that your doctor is more focused on the OB
as opposed to the GYN part of their practice. I read an article a while
back that talked about how much more practitioners focus on that aspect.
Guess baby-making is more lucrative?? Anywho...yes, you are absolutely
right that if you don't have your health, you don't have anything. You
don't need to feel like an "annoying woman". That is what the doctor is
supposed to be there for (at least before all this managed care crap...)
so if you have a doctor that you feel is annoyed by your visits,
seriously, I recommend finding another doctor who is sympathetic and
EMPATHETIC to you and your personal needs. Good luck!
