Hello Melinda. I would most definitely see a doctor as soon as possible
in this regard. Request a CT scan or ultrasound because what your
describing (IMO anyway) does not sound right. Whenever there's a doubt
in your mind, and something doesn't feel exactly right, check it out.
Because as women we are very in tune with our systems and have very good
intuition about our bodies. Good luck to you and hope all turns out ok.
