CycleFrom: melinda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Aug 28 11:02:36 2006
I have a question. The description is gross, but I've got to explain everything to see if someone can give me advice. I've had endo for years now. I'm researching specialists now for options. My current doctor is great, but doesn't specialize in this problem. Anyway, since I've had this (12 yrs or so), my cycles have only been about 3 days long. Really intense pain the first day & normal flow. Then the second day will be lighter with just moderate pain, then the third, spotting, then by the 4th day pretty much gone & I feel 100% better. I do have a regular cycle though. Well, the last 4 cycles I've had have been intensely painful as usual if not worse & the back pain is getting worse, but hardly no flow at all. Even the first day, it's just a little bit of bright red healthy blood, I only need to wear a pantyliner, then the second day, it's barely spotting, but it's black, then it just stops by that afternoon. I'm wondering why I'm not having my normal flow and this may sound stupid and naive, but if I'm not getting rid of the lining, where is it going? Could it be going into my abdomin & the pressure may be what's causing my horrible back pains. It feels like a ton of pressure is in my whole abdomin. Like someone is just pulling & squeezing everything.
