I've endo for about 12 yrs now , and the past few years I've been getting the recurrent uti's & yeast infection about every other month and couldn't figure out why i kept having them so much. I ended up seeing a doctor and as explained by him my own bacteria aggitates my body & the endo . So, i can't basically duesch (?) or when i have sex that basically pushes the bacteria up there & aggrevates things & then i get infections. Think alot has to due with what endo does to our immune systems too. I seem to get the infections more so if i have sex right before my period or around that time. So, he gave me nitrofurantoin , to take one pill after sex. It seems to have made sense ,i haven't had any more infections after I've started doing that. I went to a doctor before this one whom kept treating the symptoms of the infections ,but not the problem. Hope this helps somewhat , though not sure if it may be the same case as you , but if you keep getting them hopefully they're not treating the symptoms ,but find the cause. Best of luck ! Hope you feel better soon!
