Re: Is there a possible connection between cervical dysplasia and endometriosis?

I also had dysplasia and had NO HPV. Also, after my LEEP, I began having chronic crippling pain. A year after my LEEP, I had surgery which diagnosed my endo. My doctor explained to me that the LEEP "woke-up" nerve endings in my abdomen and I was able to feel the pain from the endo. Although cervical dysplasia is USUALLY caused by HPV, it is not ALWAYS caused by HPV. Smoking is a known cause, and there are others. I am chronically having problems with my cervix, and my doctors all think it is due to the endo. Not everyone with endo has the same symptoms, that is part of the enigma of the disease. If you are having many of the symptoms of endo, it is very possible that you have it. I would talk to your doctor about surgery as soon as possible.
