Pain with orgasm / UTI & yeast infectionsFrom: Aimee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Aug 25 16:26:05 2006
Hello all. I am new to the forum. I'll introduce myself first. My name is Aimee, I'm 29 years old and was diagnosed with endometriosis about 3 1/2 years ago. I have had two laparotomies since to remove adhesions and ovarian cysts, as well as repair the position of my right ovary/fallopian tube that was twisted and facing the wrong way due to adhesions. I cannot take any kind of birth control due to severe depression. My first question is have any of you ever experienced sharp/shooting vaginal pain during orgasm? This is something new for me and I'm not sure what could be causing it. Also, I never had this problem with my current partner in the beginning, however, over the last 4 months I have been having recurrent and persistent UTI's and yeast infections which seem to come on together and/or one right after the other....could this in any way be related to the endo? Also, has anyone else experienced a change in their sex drive since they were diagnosed with endo? Thanks to all for your answers...much appreciated! Hugs....
