I agree that the more you know the better off you are. There are several books available through the Endometriosis Association that are very helpful. My fave is the Endometriosis Sourcebook. Also, those little stick on heat pads are life savers. You tuck one of those little guys in your undies on your belly when you are at work or have to be out and about and it is very soothing. Hot baths are great too. My therapist had to hammer it in my head to take the time I need to rest. Do something fun while you are laying down like read a magazine, work on a scrap book, etc. That way it doesn't feel so negative. Something that also helped me tremendously is accupuncture.
