Hi Jenny, I totally totally agree with stress aggravating endo symptoms... I had a veryv ery rough past two months...and my endo is at its very worst.. earlier it was just a nuisance...did'nt hinder my life much...now its controlling my life :( This period of stress in my life coincided with trying birth control for the firs time...so i'm not sure if that has any part to play - my doctor says birht control is supposed to help endo - not make it worse.. Anyways, what I have realised is that while it is really difficult to smile and enjoy life when you are in pain...for our own selves rather than anyone else..it is imporatnt to smile and laugh and live life as much as we can ..easier said than done of course :) - but I am trying ... Earlier...a little bit of pain would get me down and I would just think about it and lie in bed a lot and not go out, not exercise...not talk to my friends.. now even though I have excruciating pain...I am exercising every day and jsut sleeping the normal 7-8 hours... More than anything...it helps my husband remain cheerful...becuase if I ahve a bad day which is almost everyday..and get bogged down ...he gets that way too.. I am also cutting out any form of stress from my life...jsut small things we stress about..like planning a party , choosing a dress - it has'nt helped my pain yet...but it has definitely helped my spirit to fight this thing and win! Hope you feel good and have lots of pain free days! Anna.
