Re: Anyones first sympton Pain During Sex?From: Aimee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Aug 3 15:46:51 2006
Honey your first 2 sentences describe me down to a tee!!!! That pain was the final straw for me to find out exactly what was wrong with me. I have endo and adenomyosis I have spoken about the pain upon entrance durin sex and I have been told the same, I'm too tense anticipating the deep pain. Once in the pain goes but the first moment is truly unbearable. Some doctors believe it's purely down to how a womens cervix is and some are very small. But also when you have endo some women are very dry. So I have been given alot of lubrication to use. Now to be honest applying lube hasn't ever been very romantic!!! I'm afraid I can't really ease your mind as I'm still yet to find out why the pain exists. But a year back during my smear the nurse said I was visibly red raw & sore on the neck of the cervix, where the pain is during sex. Yesterday I had my smear and that nurse said I looked fine down there. Maybe ask your doc about bacterial vaginosis and have all the STI tests done. Because endo shouldn't really effect the neck of your cervix is extremely rare. Sorry if I can't help but maybe just knowing someone else sympathises and has the same problem. Keep in touch! x
