Re: Paratubal CystFrom: Lolo (http://anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Jul 29 12:07:41 2006
Hi Jenn I was really shocked to read your story, it is the same as mine and I too feel that no one really understands. I had paratubal removal surgery about a year ago. I had my life back. The doctor still says, paratubal cysts don't cause that kind of pain. Um I disagree. Suddenly 2 months ago I have the pain all over again. I might get 1 week a month without the pain. I had an ultrasound done and I do have one small paratubal cyst back. The GP doesn't think it is the problem. Well my pain is worse today and I am on birthcontrol pills at age 41 to try to fix the problem. I feel my pain starts with ovulation. I was here surfing for info and found an interesting site and think I might have Secondary dysmenorrhea and found this on http://www.womensdoctor.com. There is a surgery I am going to ask about called Laperoscopy Presacral Neurectomy that seems like it will help, I will also have the paratubal cyst removed while they are in there. I too can not move well, have to lay around. Some months I will move the wrong way and put my back right out, those are the worst. Everyone tells me "you need to do back exercises" I try to tell them that my back is not really the problem, it is just a symptom of something going on inside. After reading yours and finding out this info I am going to demand to see a gyno again. Good luck Jenn, my e-mail is soccersandee@hotmail.com if you want to e-mail me there. I have a hard time on these sites finding my way back.
