 Hi there~
 Hey
I've been taking the depo shots for-ever!! it seems.
About 6-7 yrs. Everyone is different but for me,..its been good.
I have very little side effects.(known) no weight gain at all, no periods, other than slight spotting every 2-3 months or so.
I tried stopping the depo and my first cycle without it was horribly painful!!
I don't like the idea of being on the injections for so long tho. since they do rob your body of calcium.
Your dr. should test for bone loss every 1-2 yrs while your on it tho.
(mayeb sooner) but thats how often I'm tested and it may vary with drs.
For me,..it helps alot with the pains.
Not all my pain is gone but whats left is bearable.
 ??? endo sux.
  Hope this helps~
If you try it and don't like it. Stop it and use something else.
  Like continuous BC.
   Take care
  Tracey
